Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that the next set of pre-season matches is going to be tough.

The Sky Blues take on Cheltenham Town tonight at 7pm before travelling to Fleetwood Town, Mansfield Town on Friday and Oxford United on Saturday.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Baker said; “I would imagine these games are going to be tough and a little bit more real to what we’re going to face in League One,” said Baker.

“They’ll be a bit more physical and tougher so it will be interesting to see how we come out the other side of them because we will face a totally different style of play.

“Obviously we need to adapt to that but I am really pleased with the way the lads have come through in Holland because before we went away we didn’t know what it was going to be like with all the young lads in the squad, but I think they’ve come up trumps and done really well.”
