Former Coventry City midfielder Michael O'Neill has signed a new two year deal to continue as manager of Northern Ireland.
O'Neill was appointed in November 2011 and his side won only one game and drew six out of fourteen matches. However, the Irish FA decided that he was worth more time and offered him a new two year deal which he signed on Tuesday.
"When I was appointed Northern Ireland manager I was honoured to have been chosen to manage my country and I am extremely happy to have agreed a new two-year deal with the Irish Football Association," said O'Neill in a press statement.
