Mowbray: We Need To Be Looking At A Fair Percentage Of Wins

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that his side need to be looking to get a fair percentage of wins in their remaining twenty league matches.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole:  “We’re not top of the class at the moment and we have to keep working hard to show that we deserve to get there.

“We’ve lost one game in the last 17 so we shouldn’t be sitting here overly concerned but we although it’s important not to lose we have to do what Burton have done and start turning more tight games into victories.

“We’ve drawn eight of nine of those 17 games – win another three and that’s six more points and we’d be sitting comfortably at the top of the table.

“I know most teams could say the same but in our case I don’t think that’s dreaming, I think that’s pretty realistic.

“There was the last-minute equaliser at home against Oldham, we practically gave Doncaster two goals, there was the Chesterfield game and we lost at Sheffield United having played pretty well.

“Those were frustrating days; moving forward there will be more of them but hopefully there will also be days like Crewe were we get out rewards. We’ve got 20 games to go and we need to be looking to win a fair percentage of them.”
