Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is delighted with the signing of winger Kyel Reid on a two year deal.

Speaking about Reid who was a free agent after his contract at Preston North End expired, Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph: “I’m delighted to finally get Kyel’s signing over the line and look forward to the energy he will bring to our squad.

“Having made it to the play-off semi-final with Bradford last year, he’s another player who I would identify as having the experience needed to compete at the top of this league.

“He is capable of scoring goals at this level and will undoubtedly add creativity to our attacking third. I’m looking forward to working with him over the course of the season.”
