Mowbray - We'll Go To Barnsley And Try And Get A Positive Result

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that his side will go to Barnsley tomorrow and try to get a positive result.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph at this lunch-time's press conference: "We need to be positive and believe we can go there and get a result against a team that have won nine out of their last 11.

“It’s about how many games we win now, not how many we lose.

“We have to strive to win football matches.

“I haven’t looked back at the Fleetwood game, we can’t do anything about that now.

“When you’re at home you have to go and force the game and that makes you a bit more susceptible to counter attack. Earlier in the season we’d have just played the game and been more patient.”

The team will stay positive because we have a fantastic opportunity and we have to keep believing.

“Barnsley have invested in some players and hit some form. I am sure they haven’t been fantastic in every game, scrape a few late winners in games that could have gone either way.”

“But we’ll go there and try to get a positive result.”

“We’re in good shape, we’ll be fine and let’s try to secure enough victories to achieve our aims.

Our supporters have been magnificent all year and hopefully they still understand we’re in a good position.”

“We have to go to Oakwell and let them feel our quality.”
