Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he will be arranging meetings next week and trying to sign some players.
The City boss told Laura Hunter: “We’re working hard on the phone, Mark [Venus] especially to try and pull things together. We’ve got some meetings set up for early next week, with the hope of making signings.
“There will be competition for places next year, you need a set of strong players behind your starting XI. Football is a squad game and we’re looking to build the strongest squad possible going in to this season. The task is finding the right players, the ones that will buy in to the ethos of football at this club.”
