Mowbray - City Have Not Got The Ingredients To What I Came To Do

Last updated : 29 September 2016 By CNS Sport

Tony Mowbray, in his last interview as manager of Coventry City has told Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph that the club does not have the ingredients to do what he came to the club to do.

Mowbray came with the desire to take the Sky Blues out of League One but at the moment, it looks like the Sky Blues are nearer an exit via the relegation trap door than promotion either automatically or via the play-offs.

Mowbray said to Andy Turner:  “I came to get this club out of this league and it looks like that’s not possible.

"We haven’t, ultimately, got the ingredients to do what I came to do."
