More Like The Coventry City I Want To See - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the performance against Rochdale in the 2-2 draw at the Ricoh Arena was more like a performance he wants to see.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “I’m obviously disappointed because we’re desperate to win football matches but this was a step in the right direction; the players worked exceptionally hard and in terms of excitement it was far more like the Coventry City I wanted to see.

“The last time we scored two at home was against Peterborough which is far too long so that was a pleasing aspect. I think the supporters appreciate the effort of the group – when they have seen effort and intent and see some excitement they genuinely go home happy and I’m confident we can start winning games again.

“We’ll work hard this week to get the two players who have come in absolutely in tune with what we want and hopefully make another addition or two that could help the group. We’d like another attacker, somebody else with great speed, and perhaps another midfield player.”
