Coventry City Captain Carl Baker could miss next Saturday's trip to Portsmouth.
Baker is due to have a minor operation on Monday on a knock he has been carrying and might not make the fixture next Saturday at Fratton Park.
"Carl's been a real influential player for us but there's a likelihood we won't have him available for next weekend," City boss Steven Pressley said to the club website.
"It's something he has been carrying for a while and although we'd love to have him available for next weekend it's just as important if not more so that we get him back fit and ready to help us see out the season."
