Coventry City defender James McPake is hoping to make a return to playing in mid-November.

The Scot dislocated his left shoulder in the pre-season friendly defeat at Dunfermline and told the CT: "I am hoping to start playing again come mid-November if all goes well.

"That is just a rough target but it would be nice to get a few reserve games by then.

"Performance wise, it will be like starting from scratch but I think the last eight months have been invaluable, coming down and making new friends and getting settled into the area.

"So I have not got that to worry about. At least now, all I have to do is concentrate on getting fit."
