According to the Sunday People, Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has been linked with a move for Chris Lucketti.
The veteran defender joined Sheffield United from Preston North End last year but has only made eight appearances with two as a sub for Neil Warnock's side and may be allowed to leave on loan until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, former Coventry City midfielder Youseff Chippo is training with Scottish club Hibernian. The 33 year old is a free agent after his contract in Qatar finished and has trained with a number of clubs including the Sky Blues.
Said Hibees boss John Collins to his club's website: "He's obviously a very experienced player, someone who is a bit older than the players we have at the moment. "I've spoken to (ex-Coventry player and manager) Gary McAllister about him and Youseff will be joining us in Spain for a few days when we'll be able to get a look at him and see how his legs are."
