League One Attendances Rise By 18%

According to the Football League, attendances in League One rose by 18.4% this season.

The League claim that 4,127,943 watched League One matches, which is an average of 7.478 and 18.4% up on last season.

However, many clubs like Coventry City give attendance figures based on the number of tickets sold, which sees season ticket holders, corporates etc counted in the attendance figure, provided to the league and media, even if they are not at the match and with clubs using differing systems of producing an "attendance" figure, these numbers should be taken with a pinch of salt.
