Coventry City captain Kevin Kilbane has admitted to being shocked that Andy Thorn was sacked this morning as manager.
Speaking by phone to Sky Sports News, Kilbane said: "It is a shock for me. "We have signed some good players but from a player's perspective, we have to stand out.
"The players are in the dark as much as anyone else and we cannot dictate what goes on at Board level."
