Coventry City will face Cardiff City on Saturday without Kevin Kyle and Kevin Thornton.

The duo were both injured during the defeat at Sunderland. Kyle suffered a broken hand whilst Thornton suffered an ankle injury.

Said Adrian Heath to the CT: "Kyler has broken a bone in his hand and it is a lot worse than we first thought, so he's struggling for the weekend.

"It's a shame because we are starting to see a bit more of him and a little bit more of the player I know, and I thought he played ever so well on Saturday in difficult circumstances because he kept going down and falling on his hand which is really painful.

On Thornton who is expected to be out for three weeks, the caretaker manager added: "Kevin Thornton has a really swollen ankle and is going for X-rays once it has gone down a bit."
