Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordan appears still to be on the war path for Iain Dowie following their court case in the summer.

The now manager of Coventry City was given a good reception by many in the crowd at Selhurst Park for the game between the two sides last month, whilst Jordan who sacked Peter Taylor earlier this week, was abused by some sections and was reported to have been not happy with Mr Dowie was given the right to appeal.

Speaking in the Daily Mail, Jordan said: 'My advice to Iain is this: if this writ (issued for the agreed compensation) doesn't stick and you drag me through another appeal, there will be no mitigation, I won't negotiate. 'I will take everything I can. 'If I have to prove it again I will be a lot, lot angrier than the first time around. 'I have got a list as long as the Magna Carta of things I can say about him.'
