Joe Elliott known as "Mr Coventry" is saying no to Coventry having an elected Lord Mayor.

The Coventry City former Chairman and long standing City supporter who was in the away end with the City support at Hull City on Saturday is campaigning against our city having an elected mayor, as happens with London.

Mr Elliott will be on a panel along with Coventry Council Deputy Leader George Duggins and CT Political reporter and columnist Les Reid in a public debate at the Methodist Central Hall in Warwick Lane in Town this Thursday starting at 7pm.

Voters in Coventry will have their say at the ballot box in a referendum on May 3rd.
