Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he has let Aron Gunnarsson know how good he is and can be.

The Icelander scored City's opening goal after 91 seconds and then supplied the cross for Gary McSheffrey to head home the second to give the Sky Blues a 2-1 victory.

"I  took Aron Gunnarsson to one side afterwards because I thought he had a great game and I believe he is one that will get better and better with time," said the City manager to Sky Blue Player.

"He has pace and strength on the ball so it's just a case of letting him know just how good he could be."
