It's Very Disappointing - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has admitted that the 1-0 defeat to Millwall which all but condemned City to a place in League One next season unless there is some massive miracle was disappointing.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It is very disappointing really as we shouldn't be losing those sort of games by the odd goal at home.

"I thought it find of summed up our season really as we had 22 attempts on goal but just struggled to actually put the ball in the back of the net, which has been a common occurrence.

"It is disappointing but it is going to happen if you never replace people who went out. It was always going to come down to this type of thing really.

"When you have that many attempts, you shouldn't be losing any game by one goal and especially missing a penalty as well and I feel like that took it out of us.

"But it isn't over yet, and there are still two games to play and we need to get maximum points to give ourselves a chance."
