It's A Mystery

Coventry City have received a bid for the club from a mystery buyer.

The consortium wish to buy half the club and half the arena up front but do not want their identity revealed either before or if their bid were to be accepted by all the parties involved including Coventry City Council who are not dropping their £30m price tag for their share of the Arena.

This has started alarm bells ringing and with the club plunging to its lowest depths thanks to the handling of the club's finances by Bryan Richardson and the board at the time, it has been proven that being honest and up front with shareholders and supporters is the best way of getting the full backing of supporters which any prospective buyers would need.

Any consortium buying the club can expect to face the "Fit And Proper" Person test before being allowed to take over the club.

Although the club are keeping their cards very close to their chests, it has been made clear that ABC Corporation and/or Jeremy Keith who was involved with Derby County are not part of any bid so far received by the club.
