"It was disappointing, not just because we nearly got all three points, but also because we felt it was a quite clear handball in the lead up to the equaliser," McIndoe said to the club website.
"That being said we had a great first half and played some great football so their equaliser took the shine off the game for us because up to that point I never really felt they were going to score.
"We were always looking for that second goal to kill them off but one positive is that Bristol City have come to the Ricoh twice before and enjoyed themselves but today I didn't feel that was the case today.
"They will wake up in the morning knowing they have been in a football match so from that perspective it's pleasing."
