Interest In Marshall

It is understood that a number of clubs have shown some initial interest in Andy Marshall, who is not being offered a new contract by Chris Coleman at the end of the season.

The keeper, who has been doing some work on his UEFA B coaching badge whilst the players have been off over the last few days and is on wages that could not be classed as the luxury some have made out, said to the CT that he still has plenty to offer: "I have still got three or four good years minimum in me."

Marshall who joined City from Millwall and will be 34 in April went on to say last week: "Steve Ogrizovic played until he was forty so why not? I have always looked after myself and I feel fit.

"Funnily enough, although I would like to have played more this year, the rest has probably done my body the world of good.

"I feel I can still do a job in the Championship and hopefully I can find a new club where I can be challenging to play every week."
