Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has been talking about the currently injured City players. Speaking to the CT,Dowie said: "Kevin Kyle is doing OK. "He had a little tear in his hip flexor which looks to be healing up nicely and we will get a bit of fitness work in him because he is a big lad who needs to train. "I was a big centre-forward like Kyler and if I didn't train right I didn't feel right for games.
Injury Round Up
"Birmingham is very much in his sights and there is a sniff that even Kevin Thornton might be available too. I think that would probably be too early but I would certainly hope he will do some training with the team next week, which is a little bit ahead of schedule.
"But he's going well and enjoying the boxing sessions with John Harbin. He's a great kid who has been bright and bubbly about the place so we are looking forward to having him back."

"Liam Davis' shin problem is on-going and that is a concern for the lad because he's out of contract in the summer and I think he has got potential to be a decent player. So we are trying to get that resolved because I want him to play before the end of the season, in the reserves for sure.
"Dave McNamee's hamstring injury is a problem because it is a recurring injury and we are going to try to eradicate it by spending a bit of time getting him right, and hopefully have him back before the end of the season."
Youngster Reis Ashraf is making good progress from a hamstring injury and should be playing again shortly.
