Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that his comments about the performance put in by the players at Portsmouth last week was meant.
Thorn had taken the unusual step for him of publically lambasting his players who had made a number of errors during the 2-1 defeat at Fratton Park.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: " "I was hurting after the match but what I said, I meant.
“Sometimes you can say things which maybe you shouldn't have said but I don't think I said a lot which I didn't mean."
