Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke has said that he does not want to see his home-town club relegated.

The defender from Coundon who played in his natural position of right back against Crystal Palace last night, told Sky Blue Player: "To me personally, staying up means a lot because I never want to see my club relegated.

"I'm from Coventry, this is my club and I never want to see that but the lads in the dressing room are exactly the same even though they're not from here. They still feel as though it is as much their club as it is mine and they want to help the club stay up for the fans, the manager and themselves.

"There's no way we're giving up. We have Birmingham at home on Saturday but our home form has been great recently and we are not scared of playing anyone."
