The paper work has now arrived back from the Football League and the 20 year old full back's loan can start.
He will go into the squad to travel to Cardiff City tomorrow and if he impresses, he is likely to be offered a permanent move in January.
Reading and Peterbrough were also reported as being interested in Hussey and Chris Coleman told the club website; "There has been no secret about the fact that several clubs were trying to sign Chris, so we are delighted he has opted to come to Coventry City.
