The midfielder signed by Iain Dowie, is being released by Coventry City at the end of the season and is looking for a new club.
Said Hughes to the CT: "As everyone knows my contract is not being renewed here so I will have a month to six weeks off and see what happens. "If I get an offer I will weigh it up but if I don't get the right offer I will call it a day."
Hughes is expected to keep his place in the side for Saturday's game
