Hooper In Charge For City's Trip To West Ham

The referee currently appointed to take charge of Coventry City's next game, the trip to West Ham United is Simon Hooper from Wiltshire.

Simon started refereeing aged 15 and was appointed to the National Referees List in 2008. He has had 16 games so far this season, showing 47 yellow cards and five red.

This will be his sixth Championship appointment this term. His last game was Reading's 3-0 win over Brighton on Boxing Day.

He has only had one City game before and that was the home defeat to Cardiff City on March 16th 2010.

His assistants will be Carl Brook from East Sussex and John Magill from Essex. The fourth official will be Steve Rubery from Essex.
