Highfield Road To Wembley Way Exhibition Launched

The Highfield Road to Wembley Way exhibition which celebrates the 25th anniversary of Coventry City's 1987 FA Cup Final victory was officially opened tonight at The Herbert Art Gallery.

Dave Bennett was one of the opening speakers for a new exhibition and was joined for the occasion by 87 City Coach John Sillett along with former players Cyrille Regis, Steve Ogrizovic, Trevor Peake, Michael Gynn, Dave Phillips.

Also present were amongst the invited guests and supporters who had contributed to what is an good exhibition which will stir many a memory for all those City supporters who either went to the cup run or were around at the time, were City Board members John Clarke, Tim Fisher, Steve Waggot, Associate Directors David Shortland and Noel Hand and from the club's Commercial and Hospitality Justin Tose and Tynan Scope.

The exhibition is open until July 1st.
