Heath on Cardiff Draw

Adrian Heath was bouyant after City's 2-2 draw with Cardiff and told the club website: "I've spoken for the last three or four games about goals changing games and Michael Mifsud had a great chance to make it 2-0. "Jay Tabb had another chance so that was disappointing but in terms of the players' level of performance and their attitude I thought it was first class and I couldn't have asked for any more from them. I can see we're getting better.

"We've gone from a pretty poor performance at Plymouth and gradually got better. The most pleasing part for me is that the things we are working on Monday to Friday are being shown on the pitch. "I thought the front pair were terrific today, there was a lot of good combination play. I thought the final ball late on could have been a bit better but there was a lot of pleasing stuff."

"I'm not worrying about the manager's job. I've got enough to worry about Monday to Friday working on aspects of play that I think need improving. If the powers that be think it's not been good enough that's fine, I understand that.

"While I'm in this position I'll do everything I can to try and get the job and I think the players are doing the same for me as well.

"I can't ask any more of them in terms of their physical approach to the game so if we continue to get better I'm happy enough."
