Had We A Striker, We Could Have Scored More - Mowbray

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray felt that if his team had a striker, then they would have scored more than one goal in the 1-1 draw at Luton Town.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Yes, it's not secret we need firepoer – we controlled the game for 70 minutes and scored one very good goal but if we had that bit of extra pace and physicality up front we could have scored three or four.

“It’s frustrating but the finances mean that we are looking at loan players and those can’t be sorted out while clubs are on tour out of the country.

“I’m hopeful that we could have two or three on board next week. Ideally we would have had everything in place by now but I’d rather wait for an extra couple of weeks than make the wrong decision.”
