"We have been in negotiations with Aron and his agent and they had got one idea of what they want and we had got another," said Coleman to those assembled at the fans forum last night which was broadcast live on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire and on Sky Blues Player.
"I have spoken with the agent at length and I have had numerous conversations with Aron, who has moved his family over here and moved house and he has been affected by all that.
"But Aron is still the same player as last year and he'll come again, I have no doubts about that and sooner rather than later."
