Jermaine Grandison played his first league game for Tranmere Rovers this afternoon.

The defender, who is on a youth loan until the end of September from Coventry City, started for Tranmere after a Man Of The Match performance against Accrington on Tuesday night and played the whole of the 1-0 win against Peterborough United.

Shaun Jeffers, fresh from his England U19 outing on Thursday night, was a 70th minute for Cheltenham Town in their 3-1 defeat at Barnet.
