Tonight, West Brom went out of the FA Cup in Fifth Round replay at home to Middlesbrough. The game finished 1-1 after extra time and former Sky Blue George Boateng scored the decisive penalty to give the Premiership side a 5-4 penalties victory.

A goal by Nicklas Bendtner was enough to give Birmingham City a 1-0 win over Leeds and Norwich won 3-2 at Luton Town in a win which moves them up to 18th place in the table.

In League One,Andy Morrell got the winner for Blackpool in a 1-0 win at Oldham. Scunthorpe currently top League One with 70 points.

Locally,Nuneaton Borough, who held a golf day to pay for an operation for former Sky Blue Mark Noon, lost 1-0 at home to Gainsborough Trinity in front of a crowd of 705.

Leamington's game at Oadby along with Stratford's trip to Market Drayton and Racing Club Warwick's home game with Loughborough were all postponed.

Coventry Sphinx's home game with Cadbury was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
