Goal Machine Wanted By Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he would like a twenty goals a season striker.

With Freddie Eastwood only providing three goals this season since his £1.5m move from Wolves and Clinton Morrison not putting away all his chances, City have not scored as many goals as they should this season.

That is something Coleman would like to change and he told the CT: "Goalscorers are hard to come by and unless you get really lucky they cost money But if you get one they can make all the difference.

"Look at Hull the season they went up. They were going nowhere at one point but they got in Fraizer Campbell from Man United and bang-bang, goal-goal, he got 15 for them.

"Look at how many times they won 1-0 - that got them out of this league.

"We have got a natural goal scorer in Clinton Morrison, who has the best record here this season, we have got pace and power with Leon Best, while Freddy Eastwood is a bit different.

"If any one of them cropped up with 20 goals, or we got to sign one - which of course will cost you money - then that changes your life."
