Coventry City forward George Thomas has said that he is hoping that the Sky Blues can put on a good performance for the fans when they face Oxford United on Sunday in the EFL Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium (2.30pm kick off)
Speaking about Sunday's game to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Thomas said about City's next fixture: “We can start getting excited for the day, we’ve all been focusing on the league because that was the most important in the lead up. It should be a good day for everybody involved.
“I’ve never been to Wembley, never been to watch. I’ve said it before these two wins were hugely important because it gives us a bit of momentum and confidence heading in the game.
“Hopefully we can put on a good performance for the fans.”
