Geoffrey Waiting For Option To Be Approved

Former Coventry City Chairman Geoffrey Robinson MP is still waiting for his Option To Purchase Football Investors Limited to be approved.

Back in July, a Coventry City Holdings Ltd EGM voted Mr Robinson could have the Option To Purchase in relation to Football Investors Limited, a dormant company he had resigned from on December 19th 2003. Mr Robinson later said that this Option had been transfered to him.

Football Investors Limited is wholly owned by the Alan Higgs Charity and has 50% of the shares in ACL with Coventry City Council have the other 50%.

Covsupport has been informed that in order to complete the transaction, Mr Robinson needs the consent of the Trustees which has not been given but neither have they have not agreed or refused CCFC Holdings request to transfer the Option.
