Freddy Sears, the young striker who spent some of last season on loan at Coventry City from West Ham is keen to return to the Championship so he can get some competitive football under his belt.
Since Sears returned to West Ham he has not played for the first team under Avram Grant, although he has played regularly in The Hammers reserves, but Sears wants to play at a more demanding level to increase his chances of winning a first team recall from Grant.
The 20 year old did not set pulse rates racing at The Ricoh during his stint in the Sky Blue shirt, but his confidence has not been affected and he is prepared to try again in order to try to improve.
He told the East London Advertiser: "I want to try and break into the first team, if its not at West Ham (I will ) go somewhere on loan, play a couple of games, score a couple of goals and take it from there really."
