Forty City Supporters At Council House Demonstration

Around forty Coventry City supporters attended a demonstration at the Council House on Saturday lunchtime.

The protest was organised by campaign group Get Cov Back to the Ricoh, which is putting Brian Patton up against Coventry City Council Leader Ann Lucas in the Holbrooks Ward in the local elections on May 22nd.

Co-ordinator Rob Stevens said to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert about the event on a rainy afternoon: “It went as well as it could have done considering it was a rainy day.

“It’s a similar number of people to most of the other protests that have been held at the Ricoh, on the hill at Northampton or at the Football League headquarters.”
