Le Fondre scored twice in the last six minutes as Reading beat Leeds United 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium to send the Royal a point clear at the top of the table.

West Ham United closed the gap on second place Southampton to three points with a 4-0 victory for Sam Allardyce's side at Barnsley.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Blackpool won 2-0 at Watford and Burnley, whom the Sky Blues travel to next Saturday, beat Brighton 1-0
