Former City Target Sends Reading Top

One time Coventry City target Adam Le Fondre was on the mark as Reading went top of the Championship.

Le Fondre scored twice in the last six minutes as Reading beat Leeds United 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium to send the Royal a point clear at the top of the table.

West Ham United closed the gap on second place Southampton to three points with a 4-0 victory for Sam Allardyce's side at Barnsley.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Blackpool won 2-0 at Watford and Burnley, whom the Sky Blues travel to next Saturday, beat Brighton 1-0
