Former City Player Presents Cheque At Coventry Charity Cup Presentation Evening

Former Coventry City player Ken Brown was amongst those presenting cheques as a record seventeen thousands pounds were presented on Friday evening by the Coventry Charity Cup at their Cheque Presentation Evening at the Christ The King Club in Coventry.

Nineteen Coventry & Warwickshire based charities in Sycamore Counselling Service, Guide Dogs For The Blind, The Leading Players, Atherstone, Coventry Deaf Sports & Social Club, Coventry Resource Centre For The Blind, The Island Project School, Bermuda & Stockingford Intensive Care Support, Mary Ann Evans Hospice, Mercia Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, RAFA Club,  RSPCA, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Zoe's Place,  Acorns Children's Hospice, Community Broadcasting Services (Coventry), Macular Society, Jaguar Retired Members Club,  The Salvation Army,  Appoint Us UK with no representative from the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, received cheques and told of the excellent work they do throughout the year.

Those presenting cheques featured representatives from the Premier Group including a number of their trainees as well as former Coventry City player Ken Brown, who attended along with Ronnie Farmer.

Also presenting a cheque to the Coventry Deaf Sports & Social Club was Terry McAuley who has been stewarding the Coventry City FC club coaches for many years.

The funds towards the amount that will be presented next year were boosted by a game of "Heads And Tails" and a raffle.
