Football League To Look At City Structure

The Football League are to examine the complicated structure that is Coventry City to see if they should be docked points for having a non-operational subsiduary company in administration.

Southampton were docked points when it was proved that the company which went into administration with their debts was part of the company that runs The Saints and City are hoping that the Football League find that CCFC Ltd is not part of Coventry City Football Club (Holdings) Ltd.

The Football League have said in a statement: “At its meeting this afternoon, the Board of The Football League received an update on the current situation at Coventry City.

"The Football League is now in the process of analysing information relating to the club’s corporate structure that will enable it to consider its position regarding its rules on insolvency.”
