The City assistant manager said: "We have been a soft touch away from home and it was important to get that monkey off our back.
"Too many times this season,we have given goals away by mistake but credit to the lads they managed to see off the storm.
"The players have given everything for the shirt. They are a nice bunch but we do need a bit of quality."
