First Win For Sphinx At Dunkirk

Coventry Sphinx's reign at the top of the Midland Alliance continued with a 4-2 away victory at Dunkirk.

Danny McSheffrey's side were straight on the attack and took the lead through Jack Edwards in the 12th minute.

They kept going and were able to bulld on their lead against a Dunkirk side reduced to ten men in the 33rd minute, when Luke Williams hit a second two minutes before half-time.

The second half saw two goals from the home with McCormick getting the second in the 80th minute.

The home fans might have fancied their chances of a draw but not Sphinx and Jack Edwards had Sphinx back in front a minute later and three minutes from time,Luke Williams scored a fourth to give Sphinx a 4-2 win from their trip to Nottingham.
