City supporters attending the Fans Forum tonight made it clear to the board that they won't want Ticketmaster selling tickets for City home matches.

The question of making it easier to buy a ticket was raised at the forum and the club admitted that they were considering Ticketmaster as a way of selling tickets on line.

Those at the forum completely rejected the idea of using the company who sold tickets for matches at Highfield Road in the late 1990's before being dropped after problems.

Ticketmaster are used by Arena Coventry Limited for events and charge a £4.95 delivery charge + £2.50 service charge for tickets, something which many City supporters object to paying on top of ticket prices which are unlikely to change if the Sky Blues were to be relegated.

Joe Elliott admitted that there have problems with supporters trying to get through to the club by telephone and Ken Sharpe added that they were discussing using a call centre to take every fifth call as a way of speeding things up.
