Mr Ranson's perception amongst City supporters, has plummetted following his insistance that shares were handed over as well as the decision to sack Iain Dowie plus the subsequent FA Cup dismissal to West Brom.

There have been chants of "Sack The Board" following the defeats at Burnley and Scunthorpe, aimed at Mr Ranson who has kept himself very much out of the limelight since his arrival at the Ricoh Arena.

CV postcode resident Joe Elliott, who has supported the Sky Blues for 52 years, was Acting Chairman up until the takeover and was successful in uniting the City support which has again become divided following the recent down turn in form.

Other roles in the club are being announced today.
