Wasps have said that their day to day relationship with Coventry City FC is very good.

Despite Tim Fisher and his one man Sky Blue Sports & Leisure, Otium Entertainment Group and the Avro Mastertrust, having forthcoming court action against them as part of the Judicial Review 2, the relationship remains cordial and professional and speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Nick Eastwood said: "Well, on a day to day basis the relationship is very good.

“All I can say is to see what gets produced in the press and media. We know they are looking at different options and trying to get a model that works for them. That’s absolutely their prerogative to do that but they are here next season and we have always said we want them here."

City's contract at the Ricoh Arena ends in June 2018 and speaking about whether Wasps will be happy for that to continue, Mr Eastwood said: “Absolutely, yes, 100 per cent.

“I have said a number of times there are 40 weekends in the winter sports season. We only use 16 so why on earth don’t we want to use them the rest of the time?”
