East In Charge For City's Trip To Derby

The referee currently appointed to take charge of Coventry City's next game, the trip to Derby County is Roger East from Wiltshire.

Mr East joined the National List of assistant referees in 2000 and spent seven years as an assistant, running the line at the 2004 FA Cup Final before his promotion, in 2007, to the National Referees List.

This season, he has had 25 matches, issuing 71 yellows and four red. This will be his eighth Championship game of the season.

His last City match was the 0-0 draw against Watford (two yellows), earlier this season and his previous two City matches were the 2-1 victory over Millwall back in April 2011 and the 2-1 defeat at Cardiff City in September 2008.

His assistants will be Ricky Wotton from West Riding and Ollie Yates from Staffordshire . The fourth official will be Wayne Porter from Lincolnshire.
