Coventry City have taken over the contract of Trevor Benjamin who had been at Northampton Town after leaving Leicester City.
Adams as expected has made a move to take Ian Bennett on loan from Birmingham City. The loan of one month can be extended until the end of the season.
Micky Adams said "We're delighted to have secured another two players for the squad. "Trevor is a very honest professional who works hard for his team-mates, which is exactly what we need.
"He has a decent pedigree and has experience of scoring at this level, which is important.
"We've taken Ian for a month, with a view of extending the deal further and I'm pleased to have him on board.
