The loan of Richard Duffy from Portsmouth to the Sky Blues could be over.

The Welshman is reported as having torn a muscle which saw him replaced at half-time in City's 2-1 defeat at Watford on Saturday.

Duffy and Sky Blues staff are waiting the results of a scan for confirmation which will end the right back's fourth loan spell at Coventry City.

"Richard Duffy picked up an injury from the weekend and the fear is he won't be available for the last four games," said Chris Coleman to the CT. "He felt something ping in the top of his quad during the warm up. "He played the first 45 minutes and it stiffened up and he couldn't move at half-time so we took him off.

"We are waiting for the scans to come back but if it is what we think it is - a tear - then he won't be able to play in the next four games. "It's a shame because he just got here and we've had a little bit of bad luck in terms of injuries."
