Coventry City Manager Andy Thorn has told City supporters going to Saturday's game at Hinckley not to judge the new players on their first showing.
Thorn will take all of his available squad down the M69 into Leicestershire for the annual game at the Greene King Stadium which kicks off at 3pm and field his three new singings.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the City boss said: "It's great for the supporters to watch the new players but Saturday is just about fitness really so I certainly wouldn't start to judge them from that game.
"Like all the players they've been working hard to get fit and that will be the platform for everyone to build on.
